Jacob presented me with this as a Xmas gift. The more bizarre the better.

Okay, this whole holiday season really screws me up. Seems I'm busier than ever, and on top of it all I have 3 months of bookkeeping to catch up on, plus T4's to create. Merry ho ho. Bag humbug.

As a band, we bought ourselves a gift. I'll post photo(s) of it soon enough. Soon enough.

Fill up your mind with all it can know

I had someone wondering why I hadn't posted any photos lately. Truth is, I haven't been that happy with what's coming from my camera these days. Plus, I've been working steady on the band's demo, website, myspace page, etc. etc.

Excuses excuses...

Now to mount them on the wall in our space.

"What is it? Wednesday? Let's play a Wednesday song."

I'm finding the days in between my trips to Vancouver & Calgary a strange blur. A chronological void, that's tough to make much sense of.

We recorded a handful of songs the other night, and I'm happy with the way 2 of them turned out. Might even end up posting them.

Continual Flattery

I was hoping the dead bird carcass photo would be showcased. I figure that not enough people see such a visceral byproduct of the food chain everyday. Especially if they're reading the blog while eating breakfast.

Lately, I've found both Flickr and Midnight Poutine have become a great way to filter out my work. They're helping me select the best photos for a potential portfolio. It's incredible to quickly be able to gauge people's emotional reaction to various photographs, based on how many views each photo receives or by the comments left from users. Very helpful tools, indeed.
